Bulletproof Connectivity at BNC Show: Overcoming Venue Fibre Failure with Bonded 5G

Challenge

• The venue’s fibre had a history of issues, posing a risk to critical check-in and networking functions. Reliable Internet & WiFi was needed for badge scanning, the event app, guests, and co-working spaces.

Solution

• We deployed venue-wide high-capacity WiFi with a bonded 5G backup internet connection to replace the in-house venue network. One hour before doors opened the venue's fibre failed, however our bonded 5G system kicked in seamlessly, providing uninterrupted connectivity.

Outcome

• Our bonded 5G delivered 1.5Gbps, surpassing the venue’s 1Gbps fibre line. Check-in, networking, and exhibitor activities proceeded without disruption, preventing a catastrophe.
